Yes we know – broadband and bathtubs have very little in common. But coincidentally what they do share is a very similar access percentage, which makes for a good #broaddata.
To be fair, 2.2% of Americans don’t have “full indoor plumbing”, which constitutes hot and cold running water, a bathtub or shower, and a toilet. So while it’s possible that more than 2.2% of people have a bathtub, they may not be able to fill it with hot water. And if you ask us, that severely takes away from the whole “relaxing in the tub” experience.
